Santa Rosa Foods
The new 2600m2 chicken processing facility for Santa Rosa Foods is the first Design & Build project, and the first building to be constructed, within the exciting new Waterloo Business Park development near Christchurch Airport.
This specialist facility contains a variety of processing and storage areas
including raw and cooked production areas, two freezers, nine chillers and four
This 2300m2 bakery facility centres around a large open plan production space for a state-of-the-art Smartline automated pastry machine.
The food grade process areas include ingredients, storage, preparation, oven
room and a 100% humidity steam prover.
Xtend-Life’s new international head office and nutraceutical production facility was designed and constructed by Apollo Projects and was completed in March 2013.
A key objective in the design of the 1,810m2 facility was to optimise the efficiency of the production areas, creating clear, safe process flows while eliminating unnecessary product movements.
Independent Processing Services
This greenfield sheep processing plant in Rakaia involved the construction of a multi-level slaughter board and processing building, covered sheep yards, a chiller facility and an administration and amenities building.
Apollo managed the design and construction of this cleanroom environment within an existing facility for the manufacture of powdered drink products.

It’s modern, spacious and high-tech – and having so many of our staff on one site is encouraging us all to work more collaboratively.
