Health & Safety
Safety is a critical part of the Apollo way.
It is building safely. It is creating safe, healthy environments. It is designing facilities that work for you, the client, and it is creating spaces that protect our people.
The success of Apollo’s approach to Health & Safety is its integration into every stage of the project, from design through construction and the life of the building.
We undertake specialist ‘Safety in Design’ workshops, where we identify potential hazards in the early stages of the project and make better design choices to ensure the safety of not only our contractors, but the people who will be working in the finished facility.
On site, it is the belief that safety is everyone’s responsibility that drives our culture. We believe in growing safety leaders by empowering employees and contractors to take ownership of their safety and the safety of those around them. This is achieved through a structured approach to Health & Safety, outlining specific risk assessments and hazard identification processes.
Apollo’s systems provide our clients ‘peace of mind’. The new H&S at Work law requires all parties involved in a project to demonstrate due diligence. Apollo will manage the Health & Safety throughout the project and keep the client and consultants updated of all activities and the processes employed to manage the safety of the site. Collaboration and communication is the key to successfully working together to meet the requirements of the new law.
