Across every aspect of our business, we actively seek ways to reduce our carbon footprint and operate more sustainably – in particular on our projects.

We know the greatest opportunity to reduce carbon lies in the design phase. Through our integrated design and build approach, we challenge design teams and sub contractors early in the process to ensure the most sustainable materials and methods are used in the facilities we deliver.

Reducing wastage in the design phase can make a significant difference to a building’s carbon footprint – both initially and over its lifespan. In a real-life example, the Apollo team and our designers reduced the steel content in a previously redesigned building by over 50%!

For clients, we design with sustainability in mind from day one, offering expert advice on everything from material selection to long-term building performance.

Internally, we’re focused on identifying company-wide opportunities for energy savings, from our office environments to active construction sites.
