Apollo Set to Take on Tauranga

Last month Apollo Projects was appointed as the preferred contractor for the new Memorial Park Aquatic Centre in Tauranga. Apollo's significant experience in the delivery of design and build contracts for sports, recreation and aquatic projects means that we are the ideal team for the project. In addition, is Apollo already working on the Tauranga Courts Refurbishment for TCC which makes it a seamless transition onto the pool project. 

Memorial Park has been a well-used facility, loved by the community for more than 70 years, and this significant upgrade will ensure it will continue to be loved by future generations too. 

Tauranga City Council is committed to engaging with the community on this project, where they have already partnered with local community groups to make sure they create a balanced plan that meets the needs of the stakeholders. There is a high level of understanding of the community value, which has informed the project aspirations for the park and recreation hub. 

Further to this, Apollo are excited to also make an impact on the local community in Tauranga and are already doing so through their school sport sponsorship that gives students who may not otherwise have the financial means to compete in and attend school sports activities. 

With both projects in preliminary design, Apollo's presence in Tauranga is building and we are looking forward to continuing this through the delivery of many more projects in the region.
