Apollo Projects was engaged to design and construct this two-storey, gravity-fed pinot noir winery in Central Otago. The architectural design reflects the rugged, dry, and arid landscape of Central Otago, ensuring the building sits harmoniously within its environment.

Purpose-built to process up to 600 tonnes of fruit, the facility incorporates the latest in wine processing technology. A standout feature is the recycled waste plant, which uses custom-designed technology, a first for the New Zealand wine industry.

Amisfield Winemaker Jeff Sinnott describes the facility as “a state-of-the-art building showcasing leading-edge technology.”
