Project Details
Orion engaged Apollo Projects for the design and delivery of this 3,200m² head office and network depot on a greenfield site in Harewood, Christchurch.
The two-storey building utilises a structural steel frame and concrete intermediary floor to meet Importance Level 4 (IL4) code requirements for critical infrastructure buildings.
The exterior is clad using a Kingspan “Benchmark” Architectural Panel System providing the benefits of lightweight construction with modern insulation and fire safety technologies.
The project scope included furnishings and the internal fit out of services including a central command unit for crisis management, generation backup electrical supplies and a demountable data and communication centre.
