Cold Storage

Project Details

This project involved the construction of a new office block, cold store, chiller, dry goods and produce/environmental loading area within an existing building. Various thicknesses of Kingspan cold store wall and ceiling panel were used to ensure the facility could deliver the exacting standards required of a controlled temperature environment.

Three dock openings were formed for standard sized trucks with a fourth dock created with a dock leveller suitable for B-train trucks. The yard slab was re-formed using predominantly 200mm thick fibre reinforced concrete with selected areas of asphalt.
